Preston County is expanding its smoking ban.
The county Board of Health voted 4-1 to extend that ban Tuesday night.
Under the county’s original ban, smoking was only prohibited in restaurants. Now, it’s banned in bars, hotels and motels and even private clubs.
A spokesperson for the Board of Health said this vote will lead to healthier lives for all Preston County residents.
