Rabies Clinic to be Held in Lewis County


A veterinarian in Lewis County will help vaccinate pets all around the county this weekend.

The County Commission is announcing its annual rabies vaccination clinics to be held at six locations in the county tomorrow.

Rabies vaccines are $8 a shot, and other vaccinations will be available.

State law requires dogs and cats to receive the vaccinations once they reach six months of age, or have gone without for 36 months. 

Dr. Moodispaw will be at the following locations on Saturday, June 4 at the times listed below:

Pricetown Fire Dept. 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Jane Lew Fire Dept. 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Jackson’s Mill Fire Dept. 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Appalachian Glass 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
(Farmer’s Market)

Walkersville Fire Dept. 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Bendale State Road Garage 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
