Small Business Administration Hosts Road Tour in Fairmont

The Small Business Administration hosted a road tour at the Robert H. Mollohan Research Center Thursday, which was a national tour that brought speakers in to give advice.

“What they’re learning here is the needs of the government, how to identify whether their technology relates to the needs of the government, and then how to write your proposals to win some of this money, which would hopefully lead to more manufacturing jobs in West Virginia,” said Brian Joseph of Touchstone Research Laboratory.

The United States government budgets $2.5 billion towards small business innovation, which accounts for about 3 percent of the budget.
