A Weston couple was arrested Friday after deputies said they found materials to make methamphetamine in their home.
A Lewis County sheriff’s deputy was assisting the Day Report Center by performing a home check on Jeremy Ables, 31. Ables’ father told deputies he was living in a cabin up on a hill, and when deputies responded to the cabin, they found Ables and his girlfriend, Tanya Taylor, 37.
Deputies then observed an empty gallon jug of camp fuel, one box of children’s Zyrtec allergy medication and two syringes inside a small cooler, near where Ables was sleeping.
Ables and Taylor are each charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy.
