Barbara Ron is a Maryland native who joined the 12 News team in August 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist.
She graduated from the University of Maryland in the Spring of 2023 and earned her degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Criminology. During her academic career she served as an anchor and reporter for Phillip Merrill College’s School of Journalism TV station, CNS-TV. She was also the producer for WMUC News’ Weekly Roundup radio station.
She’s excited to start her reporting career with 12 News and cover stories all across beautiful north central West Virginia.
