Jordan Massey joined the team at 12 News in August 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist.
He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina Central University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Media. In the duration of his academic career, Jordan held internship roles at American Tower, the National Marrow Donor Program (Be The Match), Just Stunt Productions, and Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK.
Jordan officially moved to the Mountain State in August 2022 to take on a reporter role at the ABC-affiliate television station for Southern West Virginia. This allowed him to get experience in the field sharing the stories of the community and developing his skills in all facets of broadcast journalism. After spending almost a year there, he decided to bring his skill set to WBOY and continue to grow in his career.
In his free time, Jordan enjoys writing stories, listening to music, and trying new places to eat. The Maryland native is excited to continue exploring and getting to know the community here in North Central West Virginia!
