Leah Schoolcraft is a West Virginia native, calling Fayette County home. She joined WBOY as a Digital Content Producer in July 2019.
Leah graduated from the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. She also completed a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. She is now on track to graduate in 2022 from WVU, again, with a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.
Before joining WBOY, Leah produced video content of the social media pages of 100 days in Appalachia and wrote for West Virginia University’s award-winning newspaper, The Daily Athenaeum.
When Leah isn’t keeping up with the latest social media trends, she is typically found with either a Nintendo Switch or Playstation controller in her hand, catching up on TV shows, mastering her photography skills, or traveling to NYC.
