Riley joined WBOY as a multimedia journalist in May 2022 a few weeks after graduating from nearby Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania.
Riley has dreamed of being a sports reporter/anchor ever since he was nine years old after falling in love with watching ESPN shows and sports in general. In third grade after morning announcements, he would even go to the back of his classroom to give a little sports report to classmates.
While at Waynesburg, Riley helped set records as the general manager and on-air talent for WCTV, the award-winning TV station. He also worked and announced sports for the Waynesburg University Sports Network, was an on-air talent for WCYJ-FM and an award-winning writer for The Yellow Jacket student newspaper.
