1 person taken to the hospital after auto-pedestrian incident

One person was taken to the hospital after an auto-pedestrian incident in Randolph County.

According Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady, a dark colored vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The incident happened Thursday around 3:05 p.m. on Water Street in Beverly. 

The patient’s injuries were not life threatening.
