Two Belington women were arrested Sunday after troopers found drugs in their belongings.
Nicole Shoulders, 38, and Tonya Shipp, 34, were at a residence on Brown Avenue in Belington when West Virginia State Police responded in regard to a suspicious smell coming from the house.
Troopers found methamphetamine in a backpack, along with a digital scale with Shipp’s initials carved into it, a small notebook containing a drug ledger and $144 in cash.
Shoulders and Shipp admitted to troopers that they had traded and sold methamphetamine and Subutex to one another, according to court documents.
Shoulders and Shipp are each charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy.
