Multiple crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a two-vehicle accident on Route 50.
The accident happened at about 5:22 p.m. when a man driving a Dodge pickup truck struck a woman’s Chevrolet SUV, according to West Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the woman driving the SUV failed to yield the right-of-way onto Route 50 from Route 23 near Salem. The SUV rolled several times before landing over an embankment, according to troopers.
Both drivers were taken to United Hospital Center for minor injuries.
Salem Volunteer Fire Department, Salem EMS, Harrison County EMS and West Virginia State Police all responded to the scene of the accident, according to Harrison County 911 officials.
