Three people were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 Monday morning, according to Marion County 911 officials.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:31 a.m. on I-79 northbound near mile marker 132, officials said.
Three patients were taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital by the Marion County Rescue Squad, officials said.
The Valley and Winfield volunteer fire departments assisted the rescue squad on scene, along with officers from the White Hall Police Department and West Virginia State Police. State police will investigate the accident.
