Multiple crews responded to a structure fire in Marion County Friday morning.
911 officials said the fire broke out at a house on Sandplant Hill Road just after 4:30 a.m. on Friday.
Volunteer fire departments from Worthington, Monongah and Harrison County responded to the scene, as well as the Marion County Rescue Squad.
Worthington Fire Chief Chris McIntyre said they used chains to get trucks to the scene. He also stated that there was a water and truck issue and crews were also waiting on the power company. McIntyre said it was muddy and risky at the scene at that time.
The owner was home at the time of the fire but was not injured.
The house is considered a total loss.
