Crews respond to structure fire in White Hall


UPDATE: (4/10/18, 7:43 p.m):

Crews have extinguished the fire.

According to Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Raymond Knight, the fire started in the rear of the house.

Officials are not sure at this time what caused the fire.

Knight also stated that the Fire Marshal will be investigating.


ORIGINAL (4/10/18 7:15 p.m.):

Crews responded to a house fire in White Hall on Pristine Lane Tuesday evening.

The call came in shortly before 5:30.

According to 911 officials, there were people in the house at the time of the fire, but no injuries have been reported.

The Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department, Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Winfield Volunteer Fire Department, Monongah Volunteer Fire Department, Barrackville Volunteer Fire Department, White Hall Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Department, and Marion County Rescue Squad all responded on scene. 

There is no word on the condition of the structure at this time.
