An abandoned house is considered a total loss after a fire on Monday evening in Harrison County.
The call came in at 7:25 p.m. for a house on Adams Avenue in the Adamston area of Clarksburg, according to 911 officials.
Chief Rick Scott of the Clarksburg Fire Department said on scene that the house was set to be demolished by the city.
The fire is considered suspicious.
Chief Scott said the fire department has been working with the Clarksburg Police Department Detective Division to determine the cause of this and other recent fires at abandoned houses in the area.
