Man flown to hospital after vehicle accident in Randolph County

One person was flown to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Randolph County.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., a man was driving a sedan through a turn on U.S. Route 219, between Tygarts Valley High School and Huttonsville, when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled it, according to West Virginia State Police.

The man was ejected from the vehicle, troopers said. HealthNet responded to the scene and flew the man to Morgantown. There is no word on his name or condition.

Randolph County EMS and volunteer fire departments from Tygart Valley and Huttonsville-Mill Creek responded to the scene. West Virginia State Police will continue to investigate the accident.
