Raw art exhibit to feature unique artists

Fire eating and live tattooing are not typical art gallery events. But Gallery 62 West in Grafton will have those events and more at the debut of it’s Raw Art Exhibition.

The exhibit will feature unconventional art and artists including tattoo, graffiti, taxidermy and more.

There will also be a kids tattoo activity.

“It’s important to understand that there are different types of art. And just because we’re not looking at something or observing it on a gallery wall, doesn’t lessen the importance or value of that esthetic,” said Beth Flanery, gallery director.

The exhibit will feature artists from around the country.
