Davis Medical Center is again seeking community members for the Patient and Family Advisory Council.
Davis Medical officials have been working with the community to gain their input and insight into what patients and families want to make seeking healthcare easier. Council members will work with healthcare professionals to engage in conversations and decisions affecting their well-being.
“It provides us with valuable information including their insight, their perspective, and what they truly want. What I think they want and what they really want are usually two different things,” said DMC Family Advisory Council Co-Chair Arvela Koerner.
Officials say the council has been effective by expanding Davis Medical Center’s capacity to develop relevant and responsive programs and services.
Applications are being accepted through October 19.
Applications to serve the community as a PFAC member are available online. Additional information is available by contacting Koerner online at email@example.com or by calling 304-637-3773.
