Scott Sincoff

Scott is happy to come to north-central West Virginia and join the StormTracker 12 team as the 12 News Today and Noon meteorologist! He originally hails from Monroe Township, N.J.

Prior to joining the WBOY StormTracker 12 team in April 2018, Scott spent two years as the morning meteorologist at KVRR Local News in Fargo, N.D. where he honed his skills forecasting severe and winter weather as well as conducting numerous science experiments for viewers across the Red River Valley.

Scott received his journalism and environmental policy degree from Rutgers University in 2014 and obtained his master's degree in geosciences with a concentration in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University in 2016. He is also a member of the National Weather Association.

Scott is an Eagle Scout and enjoys community service as well as outdoor activities like hiking, swimming and exploring. He also enjoys musical theater, singing, playing and watching sports, especially football, hockey and baseball. Scott loves to cheer on the New Jersey Devils, New York Yankees, as well as Mississippi State and Rutgers college sports.
