The search for a woman who was missing takes an interesting turn when deputies entered her into the national database.  Investigators said that is when they found she was wanted in Tazewell County, Virginia for failing to appear in court on a shoplifting charge.

Amber Davidson was found on Thursday morning in the Brushfork area.   At around 11:30 a.nm. deputies received a tip that she was at the Burger King.  They were able to find her and she was arrested on the charge from Virginia.  Deputies said she is now waiting to appear before a circuit court judge.


ORIGINAL STORY (WVNS) — Deputies in Mercer County are asking for help from the community to find a woman who was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.  Amber Brittany Davidson, 30, disappeared after being at a friend’s house in Montcalm, WV.

Davidson is a white woman who stands 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds.  She has brown hair and blue eyes.
