One person was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Randolph County.
Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady said that traffic on Route 250 northbound was stopped due to road work.
Deputies said, the driver of a GMC Sierra saw the traffic as they made a turn, and drove into an embankment in an attempt to avoid an accident. However, the truck collided a pickup truck and a dump truck.
The Beverly Volunteer Fire Department, Tygarts Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Elkins Fire Department, Randolph County EMS and the WV Division of Highways responded to the scene.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was taken by ambulance to the hospital. There is no word on their condition at this time. No other injuries were reported.
