Jesus Fest WV 2018 is back again this year in downtown Clarksburg. It features 14 bands, 11 speakers, food and activities for kids.’
The 28th annual Dulcimer Festival is going on at Fort New Salem in Harrison County. It includes workshops and concerts.

To the east, the Valley District Fair is going on in Reedsville to benefit the volunteer fire department. A parade, mud bogs, ATV races and truck and tractor pulls are just some of the events on the schedule.
If it floats, it will be on Cheat Lake in Monongalia County on Saturday during the Cheat Lake Regatta. You can take part in or watch kayak, canoe or paddle board races, a boat poker run and more. Fireworks are also planned. It benefits the Rotary International Club.
West Virginia Public Radio’s “Mountain Stage” is coming to Davis & Elkins College. Saturday’s show features Kathy Mattea.
The All American Family Festival is happening in Star City. It’s free and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Edith Barril Waterfront Park.
“Brews & Cruise” is pulling into downtown Philippi. It features a car cruise-in, bluegrass music from the Hillbilly Gypsies and craft beer and food.
Classic cars will also be descending on Valley Falls State Park. The AACA Antique Car Show will run from Noon to 4:00 p.m. The event is free.
Arts for Kids Day runs from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Palatine Park.
