UPDATE (10/1/2019 8:40 a.m.):
FAIRMONT, W.Va. – A suspect is in custody in relation to a shooting incident which occurred Sunday morning on Lanham Lane, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the deceased.
According to Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Riffle, Chris Moses died as a result of injuries sustained from the incident.
Marion County Prosecutor Jeff Freeman said a second victim of the incident, whose name is not being released at this time, is still in the hospital recovering from the event.
According to the U.S. Marshals Northern District Office, marshals were requested to assist in securing Brian Lyon, who was wanted out of Pennsylvania on multiple warrants and the person of interest in the Lanham Lane shooting.

Marshals said Lyon was arrested between the late evening and early morning hours of Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Pennsylvania.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating Lyon’s motive, but he has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder as a result of the event.

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Two people have been confirmed as victims in a shooting which occurred Sunday on Lanham Lane, just outside of Fairmont.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, deputies received a call that a shooting had occurred in the Lanham Lane at around 8 in the morning.
Deputies could confirm that there were two victims in the incident, but no one else is currently in danger as a result. The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is still conducting an investigation into the shooting.
No information on the names or conditions of the victims is not being released at this time.
Lanham Lane is off of Route 250 south of White Hall.
