BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Antero Resources held its 4th annual benefit gala to go along with the Kentucky Derby at the Pete Dye Country Club Saturday.
Proceeds from the event went to support both CASA and HOPE Inc.
Organizers said events like these are a great way to give back to the communities that support the company.
“You know, we live here, we work here. The agencies we support, our people could be direct beneficiaries of those, and that’s what’s really important to us is that the communities we live in and work in and play in need to be supported and that’s one of the big watchwords here at Antero,” said Antero’s Alvyn Schopp.
The gala raised about $120,000 in its first three years.
