One Barbour County local will be heading to Indiana this weekend for an opportunity of a lifetime. Aaron Z. will be auditioning for ‘The Voice,’ an NBC television show that features a singing competition.
Aaron is a singer and songwriter who has worked hard to get his name out in the world, playing in local bars and music festivals. Aaron said the journey has not been easy, but he has felt a calling to play music all his life.
“As a child, I’ve always felt that I’ve had a calling to play music since I was a little kid, and anybody that knows me personally knows that music has always been a big part of my life, and I just feel like it’s time. All the doors are open; why not now? The way I see it is I’m going to give it the best I have. If I fall on my face, I am not going to stop trying to make it,” said Aaron.
Aaron is eager to audition and to see where his music can take him. He has high hopes and said failure will not stop him from playing and living his dream.
