Dominion Energy has been helping a local outreach keep the lights on around the world.
The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation donated $10,000 to New Vision Renewable Energy in Barbour County.
The money will go to help New Vision retrofit an old school bus into a mobile STEM classroom.
New Vision Energy officials said it was a way to get their message out to a wider range of people than they’ve ever been able to before.
“We do a lot of work with public schools promoting renewable energy, solar lights, and now we’ll have a way to actually carry an old bus into a new life, and it’ll be exciting to be at community events,” said New Vision Energy’s Ruston Seaman.
Dominion Energy will award a total of $75,000 in grants to environmental stewardship projects around West Virginia.
