A new movement in Philippi is mixing brunch and inspiration. ‘Gals That Brunch’ is a nation-wide movement that has now started the first chapter in West Virginia.
The group is open to women from all over who are looking to share ideas, gain inspiration and meet new people.
The first brunch was at the Wanderlust Coffeehouse & Wine Lounge. The ladies shared ideas, talked through challenges and even won some prizes.
New chapter founder Samantha Smith hopes the group inspires and empowers women from all over.
“My biggest mission for this is for the positivity and the empowerment for all of the women throughout West Virginia. Currently we have 55 chapters within the states and are spreading through Australia and different countries, so I think that it’s something awesome to just bring together everybody,” said Samantha Smith, chapter founder.
The group hopes to have more brunches, their facebook page can be found here.
