Philippi Main Street had its Brews & Cruise event Saturday.
The event featured cruising on the streets earlier in the day, with musical entertainment to follow.
Live bluegrass music was provided by the Hillbilly Gypsies, who have members from the Morgantown and Romney areas, among other places around the state.
People 21 and over could enjoy local beers or national brands.
Local beer was provided by Mountain State and Rivertown brewing companies.
One of the crowd-favorite songs was “West Virginia State Line” which lead singer Trae Buckner was inspired to write while driving home one night.
