A Christmas homecoming surprised one wife and little girl this evening at the Sheetz in Philippi.

Mother and daughter got to see their husband and father for the first time since deployment. Scott Kuncher, a 15 Echo in the United State Army, made his families wish come true and will be able to spend a few weeks with them for Christmas.

“Its going to be amazing to be with them, and then its going to suck and I’m going to have to leave again in two weeks to go back, but I get to be home for two weeks. To see her cry again and just see Winter have a good time opening gifts,” said Kuncher.

Kuncher said he’s making up for lost time. When he left his daughter was not working and now she’s both crawling and walking.
