ELKINS, W.Va. – A Randolph County brewery is celebrating its fifth anniversary this week.
Big Timber Brewing sent out its first order of beer five years ago on May 2nd from its original facility in Elkins.
Since then, the craft brewery has been producing a variety of different beers sent all across the state.
Head brewer Matt Kwasniewski said he’s seen the state’s interest in taste in craft beer grow.
“West Virginia’s really grown on that. More people are not just having a drink of craft beer, but are willing to try a lot more varieties,” said Kwasniewski.
Big Timber will be hosting special events through Saturday to celebrate the anniversary.
