BRIDGEPORT, W.Va – The Bridgeport Farmers Market hosted their annual spring community dinner at the Bridgeport Conference Center Thursday evening.
Local farmers, bakers, and chefs showcased some of their best goods. Attendees were able to enjoy local cuisene, all while supporting local businesses.
“It’s super important, ya know, for the area. For everyone to try to buy as much local as they can, it supports your towns, it supports your local farmers, it supports your children that are growing up in your communities,” said Frank Crislip, Bridgeport Farmers Market board member.
The event also offered a cash-bar where those in attendance could taste samples from local breweries here in the mountain state.
The Bridgeport Farmers Market will kickoff this Sunday from 10 a.m – 2 p.m.
