The Small Business Development Center hosted a fundamental workshop at the Robert H. Mollohan center on Wednesday.
The course covered the basics of how entrepreneurs can properly start up their company.
The instructor of the workshop spoke about the importance of preparation to the success of a business.
“One of the main things that we talked about is business planning and what we find is that the more we plan, the more we put into our planning, and the more effective we are, it tends to lend to more success. We stressed that, as well as being able to understand the financing conversation for what banks might be looking for,” said Todd Crump, business coach.
The workshop aided in the training and business coaching program ‘three step jump start’ involving the breaking down of important topics with phasing modules that helps small business owners receive the right information to grow at the right time.
