The fourth annual North Central West Virginia Business Summit was held at the Robert H. Mollohan Research Center in Fairmont on Tuesday.
The event was a partnership of four county chambers, including Preston, Monongalia, Marion and Harrison.
Speakers at the event discussed a variety of topics including the New China Deal, economic development, roads and housing.
Twenty-five business vendors from across the North Central West Virginia Region that have a stake in the development of the area attended.
“A lot of good vibes going on, a lot of activity going on in North Central. A lot of potential for the future. It’s all good, and we just have to maximize it with the resources that we have,” said Kathy Wagner, Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
The event wrapped up with remarks from Mayor Peduto of the City of Pittsburgh.
