Nearly 100 realtors gathered for continuing education courses at the Bridgeport Conference Center Thursday afternoon.
The Harrison County Association of Realtors hosted the event. Association officials said that home buying will be different this year because of rising interest rates and the housing shortage.
“This one [conference] is unique because it is offered to area realtors from Harrison County and surrounding areas as far as Monongalia County. We had someone who came from Pittsburgh to attend the course,” said Jolie Carter, education coordinator.
The topics at the conference included tax accounting and how culture influences home buying in our state.
