A female passenger was transported to United Hospital Center for what was described as non-life threatening injuries following a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening.
According to 911 officials, the accident occurred at 5:54 p.m. on Haywood Road in Harrison County.
Police said the operator of the motorcycle lost control after passing vehicles. The driver was not critically injured.
Lumberport Fire Department and Harrison County EMS responded to the scene. The West Virginia State Police are currently investigating.
There is no word on the extent of the patient’s injuries.
