Two Michigan men were arrested in Morgantown Tuesday after the Mon Metro Drug Task Force found drugs in an apartment.
Douglas McClendon, 28, and Deaire Hinton, 27, both of Detroit, were arrested when the task force executed a search warrant at an apartment on Alpine Street after receiving word that out-of-state drug dealers were selling heroin and crack.
During the search, members of the MMDTF located heroin and crack, some of which was packaged for delivery, two handguns, a large sum of money, weighing and packaging materials and multiple phones.
McClendon is known to the MMDTF for delivering heroin, for which he had an active warrant from April 2017 in Monongalia County, according to court documents.
McClendon and Hinton are each charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy.
