26-year-old man accused of stabbing and killing wife in Preston County

A man is accused of fatally stabbing his wife in Preston County Tuesday evening.

Joseph Harrison, 26, allegedly stabbed his wife, Kimberly Harrison, 27, in the chest with a knife at the Rodeheaver Trailer Court in Kingwood around 5 p.m., according to the Preston County Sheriff’s Department. The stabbing occurred during an argument, according to court documents.

Kimberly Harrison was found outside in the trailer court when deputies arrived on scene and later died, according to court documents.

The West Virginia State Police also responded to the scene along with the sheriff’s department. The sheriff’s department will handle the investigation.

Joseph Harrison is charged with second-degree murder and is currently in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail in lieu of $1,000,000 bond.
