3 people indicted on murder charges in Taylor County

A Taylor County grand jury has indicted three people on murder charges during the January 2018 term of court.

John Hess was indicted on a murder charge in the death of his wife, Abigail Hess. Taylor County deputies said John Hess shot Abigail Hess on New Year’s Eve at their home in Flemington.

A man and woman also face indictments in Taylor County after a deadly shooting.

Justin Clark is charged with murder, wanton endangerment and child neglect charges in the June death of Frank Newbraugh, 39. Deputies said Clark shot Newbraugh near the Taylor County Animal Shelter.

Samantha Dakon-Clark is also indicted on a murder charge and child neglect creating risk of injury charges for her alleged role in Newbraugh’s death. Deputies said Dakon-Clark had her four children present when the shooting happened inside a car and that she was helping Newbraugh get drugs.
