ATF offers reward for information on gun store burglary

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering an award for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the theft of 67 handguns and ammunition from Gun Runner in Fairmont.

According to officials, the robbery took place on May 5 at approximately 1:05 a.m.

Officials said that two suspects entered through a window at the rear of the business, removed the handguns from the display cases and stole a black 2013 GMC Sierra dually pick-up truck that belongs to Gun Runner.

The truck was recovered on May 11 in the 1700 block of Evarts Street in Washington D.C.

ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total possible reward of up to $5,000.
