A Buckhannon woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies said they found drugs in her purse.
Rebecca Senior, 34, was allegedly riding in a vehicle that was pulled over and admitted to having drugs in her purse, according to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies found a large container with a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, several unused plastic bags, a small amount of marijuana, and a Clonazepam pill in Senior’s purse, according to court documents.
While Senior was in the sheriff’s department for processing, she used the restroom and ignored two direct commands not to flush the toilet, deputies said. Deputies found a plastic bag containing methamphetamine after she was removed from the restroom, according to court documents.
Senior is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and obstructing.
