Clarksburg man arrested after police find methamphetamine during traffic stop

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. - A Clarksburg man was arrested early Thursday morning after police found methamphetamine in his vehicle.

Aaron Petitto, 24, was stopped for a taillight while driving on Broadway Avenue at approximately 1 a.m., according to the Clarksburg Police Department.

Police saw a small, blue bag of methamphetamine in plain view, along with eleven empty, blue bags in the backseat. Another bag of methamphetamine was found wedged between the driver's seat and the center console, police said.

Petitto is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
