A Clarksburg man was arrested after he robbed the Subway restaurant on West Pike Street, Clarksburg Police officers said.

Roger Osborn, 31, is charged with second-degree robbery.

Officers said, Thursday evening, Osborn went to the counter of the restaurant, put a cup on the counter, leaned over and said, “Put all the big bills in here. I don’t want to cause any problems.”

Officers arrested Osborn on Locust Avenue.

“When detained, Roger excitedly uttered, ‘Yes, I have the money. The money is in my pocket,’ and the $120 was retrieved from Roger’s pocket,” according to police.

If convicted, Osborn could face five to 18 years in prison.
