A Clarksburg man was arrested on drug charges following an early morning traffic stop in Harrison County.
According to Clarksburg police, on Nov. 25 at approximately 12:30 a.m., an officer performed a traffic stop on a black Chrysler Town & Country traveling west on West Pike Street with a defective headlight.
The officer identified the driver as David Weaver, 32, of Clarksburg, and after running his name and date of birth, found out that he had an active felony warrant.
Weaver was then placed in custody. While searching Weaver, police found zip lock bags of meth, digital scales, a folding mirror and a glass pipe.
Weaver is charged with possession with intent to deliver.
