Clarksburg man faces charges after selling meth

Clarksburg Police arrested a man they say sold drugs to a witness.

Christopher Weaver, 29, of Clarksburg, was arrested Thursday after police say he delivered two “rocks” of methamphetamine to a witness for $20.  

Police said Weaver admitted to making the delivery. 

Police said Weaver also had a “rock” of methamphetamine inside his hat, and he admitted to dropping a bag of meth when he was approached by officers. 

The substances field tested positive for methamphetamine, according to Weaver’s criminal complaint.

Weaver has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance. He was taken to the North Central Regional Jail and had a bond set for $5,000.
