A Harrison County woman has been arrested following a drug investigation that began in December.

On December 18, 2018, the Bridgeport Police Department assisted State Probation Officers with a home visit at the residence of Angel Riddle, 24, on Hanover Street in Clarksburg after receiving a drug complaint. After arriving on scene, officers said they heard people inside of the residence, but they would not come to the door.

Officers observed the people in the residence through the window and identified two male probationers as Dakota Linkous and Nicholas Secreto. Linkous eventually exited the home and was soon followed by Secreto and Riddle. Riddle then gave consent to probation officers and Bridgeport Police to search her residence, according to court documents.

During the search of Riddle’s residence, officers said they recovered 1.9 ounces (55 grams) of methamphetamine, 21 grams of marijuana, 2 Buprenorphine pills, digital scales, bags for packaging and other drug paraphernalia.

On December 26, 2018, officers said they requested and received all jail calls for Linkous from December 18 on. Officers said during a jail call to a woman identified as Riddle on December 19, they spoke about money and collecting debts.

On January 5, 2019 a search warrant was executed on Riddle’s cell phone, according to police. Officers said a manual overview of Riddle’s phone was then conducted, which resulted in the discovery of numerous messages relating to buying, selling and middle manning transactions and potential transactions of illegal controlled substances that were found at her residence.

Riddle has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony.
