Deputies with the Marion County’s Sheriff Department have arrested a man after he robbed a male at gunpoint.

Deputies say that they responded to a breaking and entering complaint at Middletown Road on Saturday, June 30.

Officials say that witnesses told them that Daniel Spine, 22, of Fairmont walked up to the main door of the residence, spotted his ex-wife inside, and let himself in.

According to deputies, once Spine entered the residence he grabbed a male by his shirt collar, pushed him, and grabbed the man’s pistol which was sitting nearby.

Deputies then say that Spine pointed the gun at the male, and another person located in the house and demanded that the male give Spine his cell phone.

Spine then fled the scene in a Silver Toyota with the license plate hanging off of the vehicle before being arrested at the Shell Gas Station off of East Grafton Pike according to deputies.

Spine is charged with first degree armed robbery.
