Elkins Police arrest an Elkins man on a drug charge

Elkins Police arrested a man Friday on a drug charge.

Police said they stopped Jacob Hebb, 37, of Elkins, to speak about a previous incident,

While speaking with Hebb, police said they saw a clear plastic baggy with a crystal like substance hanging out of his pocket. Hebb was then arrested and told police the substance was methamphetamine, according to court documents.

Officers found 25.5 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of marijuana, scales, multiple clear plastic baggies and $190 in cash, while searching Hebb, according to police.

Hebb was charged for possession with intent to deliver. He was taken to the Tygarts Valley Regional Jail with a bond set to $75,000.
