Grafton man arrested on drug charge

A Grafton man was arrested on a drug charge Tuesday.

Anthony Alderman, 24, sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant at 2 a.m., according to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department.

The informant was sent to purchase watches from Alderman but instead, purchased methamphetamine for $200, according to court documents. Alderman told the informant he would bring the watches to his house later today, deputies said.

Alderman spent the marked $200 at Circle K in Grafton later in the day, deputies said.

Alderman is charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
