Harrison County man heading to prison for involvement in heroin distribution

A judge sentenced a Harrison County man for his role in a heroin distribution operation.

David Chalfant, 26, of Bridgeport, was sentenced to 10 months in prison after he pleaded guilty in May 2018 to one count of aiding and abetting the distribution of heroin.  Chalfant admitted to selling heroin in March 2016 in Harrison County, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

The Greater Harrison Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
