Judge sentences Marion County man on child pornography charge

A judge has sentenced a Marion County man on a federal child pornography charge.

A judge sentenced James Cobb, 56, of Fairmont, to 110 months in prison for a child pornography charge, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Cobb pleaded guilty in October 2018 to one count of possession of child pornography.  Cobb admitted to possessing child pornography in Marion County in September 2014, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The FBI investigated.
